You'll find a constantly changing menu here at The Groundworks. We draw our inspiration from London eateries, middle-eastern cafés, so whilst it isn't easily defined, it's certainly packs taste. Along with food, we're passionate about creating a communal environment. Somewhere you can come and meet friends and family, enjoy some great coffee and meaningful conversations and generally feel pleasantly welcome.
We just hope that you enjoy our shop as much as we do and perhaps find something inside to surprise you along the way.

KITE AT THE RED HART
When we opened The Groundworks we set out to create the kind of cafè that we would want to go to; with great interiors, excellent coffee and unique homemade food. With Kite at The Red Hart we want to replicate that experience in the pub space.
We spent a year carefully refurbishing the Red Hart, a coaching inn dating back to 1492, to give the property the love and care such an old building deserves. As well as constructing a new modern kitchen (the centrepiece of which is our Fogarty charcoal oven), we also overhauled every aspect of the interiors and completely renovated the huge courtyard area, transforming it into the perfect beer garden for warmer weather.
